Ultra BiliLight Diagnostic Certification Programs To help provide better service to our customers, PEP provides Diagnostic Certification and 2,000 Hour Check-Up programs for the Ultra BiliLight 2000. These programs are designed to assist our customers in creating a factory testing and maintenance certification program that can be used as documentation support for JCAHO accreditation requirements. They can also be used as a verification procedure to ensure that your device is operating properly to reduce liability risks and improve the usable life of the unit.  All testing and maintenance is done by factory trained technicians providing the highest quality control to ensure that your equipment is functioning within industry standards. If your PEP Ultra BiliLight 2000 has had 2,000 or more hours added to the digital display since the last inspection, your unit is due for maintenance and diagnostic testing.  In accordance with FDA requirements, lamps MUST be changed every 2,000 hours.  PEP recommends diagnostic testing of all equipment every year or every 2,000 hours, whichever comes first.
